Credit Cards Credit Cards. The company that I work for organized a staff training day a couple of days ago so that they could tell us all about credit card processing and merchant accounts. I first thought that they were having a laugh with us. What could they possibly have to tell us about how to accept credit cards and about merchant account services that we did not already know? I have been working in the retail industry ever since I was sixteen, so that is going back a few years. About 24 years ago to be exact, as I only just celebrated my fortieth a few weeks back. I thought that the meeting was a silly idea and that I would not learn anything new about merchant accounts, but I was very wrong and it was a very interesting day.
