Other similar example is a person who wants to have a outer-ear surgery to correct deformed ears. Primary goal of the surgery here is to improve patients appearance.

What is important to know about these surgeries is that insurance policies will cover the cost. But you need to check that two times, because your insurance carrier may have a different policy to certain procedures. Maybe there are some limitations you don't know about, so it is best to be informed about that too. Ask questions, be in contact with them adn with your plastic surgeon so you can get pre-authorization papers for your surgery.
